Founder & Executive Director
Nicole Johnson is a compassionate Registered Nurse with extensive experience in acute healthcare settings, particularly within the Surgical Department. Her journey in care began as a Healthcare Assistant at Little Sisters of the Poor and various hospitals and nursing homes across Dublin, Ireland. A proud graduate of the University of Bradford with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare, and holder of a Diploma in Pre-Nursing from Abbey College, Dublin, Nicole combines professional excellence with a deep passion for humanity. Beyond her professional and philanthropic pursuits, Nicole is a devoted mother and a proud dog owner, balancing her life of service with love for family and compassion for all living beings.
Guided by her belief in kindness, dignity, and the power of community, she founded Africa Well a charitable initiative dedicated to improving access to healthcare and eliminating preventable deaths caused by poverty and unaffordability across Africa.
Currently based in the United Kingdom, Nicole works as a Registered Nurse, bringing her clinical experience and compassion into every aspect of her work. Her dedication to improving access to healthcare inspired the founding of Africa Well, where she continues to lead initiatives that make quality healthcare accessible to communities across Africa.

Manager
Pastor Victoria Retamar is a devoted pastor, accomplished businesswoman, and loving mother based in Los Angeles. With a heart for community service and healthcare equity, she brings strong leadership and organizational skills to Africa Well.

Secretary – Ghana
Benony is a compassionate community leader and healthcare advocate serving as Secretary for Africa Well Ghana. With a background in Accounting and experience in financial services, he combines administrative efficiency with a strong heart for outreach and care.
At Africa Well, Benony coordinates communication, manages local partnerships, and leads rural health outreach programs that bring essential care and hope to underserved communities.

Team Member
Nelson SENAYAH Eklou is a mathematician, linguist, and reporter. He is an enthusiastic team player, sociable, and passionate about personal growth and meaningful collaboration. His optimism, sportsmanship, and sense of magnanimity have earned him the respect and admiration of those who work with him.
Nelson is currently studying Chinese at the Confucius Institute, University of Lagos (UNILAG), where he continues to broaden his linguistic and cultural expertise. His diverse background enables him to contribute effectively across communication, education, and community engagement initiatives.
